CURIOSITY. CRAFT. CONNECTION.

I’m Aaron Becker, and my path in design has always been about balancing curiosity with craft. Early influences like Constructivism and Bauhaus reinforced my belief that the computer is only a tool. Real design begins with a strong idea and a sketch, and that mindset continues to shape how I approach every project with clarity, problem-solving and a solid visual foundation.

From Print to Digital

I developed a deep respect for print early on. Paper swatches, PMS guides and die cuts sharpened my eye for detail and taught me how to design with both creativity and practicality. That foundation carried naturally into digital work, where I collaborate with developers, writers and other creatives to build websites and brand systems that are intuitive, flexible and visually clear. This blend of craft and collaboration continues to shape how I approach each project.

Hands-On and Human

As the sole designer and founder of Gestalt Werks, I draw on a decade of experience shaped by curiosity and craft. From experimenting with AI to spark exploration to running a 1920 Chandler & Price letterpress, I stay hands-on. This balance of analog and digital keeps the work meaningful and enduring. I collaborate with agencies, recruiters and direct clients, bringing the same thoughtful approach to every project. I look forward to collaborating on work that is intentional and lasting.
