Discipline: Campaign, Environmental and Print Design
Role: Art Direction, Design
Client: Children’s Health (internal client)
PROBLEM Children’s Health had a new balloon-based identity that needed to work at every scale. I worked internally to build a flexible system within tight brand guardrails. The challenge was making that system flex across campaigns, print and environments while balancing the visual tension between graphic balloon elements and patient-centered photography, with children at the center of every story.
SOLUTION I partnered with the internal team to extend the identity across campaigns, print, digital and environmental design. Balloons, varied in shape, size and color, became a universal metaphor for play, hope and celebration. As art director, I developed versatile campaigns, on-brand and seasonal giving that balanced the balloon-driven visuals with thematic messaging. I collaborated on photo shoots and asset direction that kept the brand consistent across every channel. Patients and families saw a brand that met them with warmth on the day they needed it most. Giving grew year over year because the work earned trust before it asked for anything.
