Client: CoValence Laboratories
I collaborated with the CoValence team to design packaging for a white-label skincare product. The goal was to create a system that felt both clinical and approachable with simple shapes and bold copy that stood out on the shelf. Clean typography and a restrained color palette reinforced trust while keeping the line visually striking. The flexible design language adapted to different product SKUs and set the stage for refining production details and preparing the line for market.
Silver, Shape, and Simplicity
The packaging system was built around geometric forms that reflected the client’s covalence-inspired philosophy. Metallic silver bottles paired with silver cartons created a high-end sheen while a light blue and brown palette kept the line contemporary and approachable. Vertical typography added an innovative edge that set the products apart on the shelf and spoke to younger consumers drawn to minimal design.
Most cartons followed straightforward dielines but the Hydrating Cream revealed the aluminum canister for added impact. I worked with a local printer early to anticipate challenges and source practical short-run materials. Premium digital printing and hand-assembled prototypes ensured the mockups looked market-ready while refining dielines and finishes. Although shelved the project led to future collaborations and reinforced my belief in treating every assignment with the same creative rigor.
